IdeaGen Software Ltd is a market leader in Standards Management software based in the picturesque town of Matlock, on the edge of the Peak District. We are currently recruiting for a number of developers to drive our product forward into a new era for IdeaGen.

 

We need .NET Developers to design and implement an entirely new system based on our very successful Workbench Professional product. Successful candidates must have commercial knowledge of ASP.NET development and SQL Server. SharePoint development and integration is a huge advantage.

 

We also need Delphi Developers to maintain and support our existing flagship product, Workbench Professional, whilst bringing new ideas to the table of how we can push it into another dimension. We will be looking at cross-training any Delphi Developers to .NET in the long term to help with the implementation of the new system. This role will also include acting as an Development interface with our Support team.

All developers must be able to work on their own and as part of a small, friendly, informal development team. You must have good communication skills and be highly innovative as we always want our products to stand out from the crowd!

In Summary

The ASP.NET Developers will have:

-          Commercial (2+ years) of ASP.NET development

-          Commercial (2+ years) of SQL Server

-          Good knowledge of XML

-          Good knowledge of integration with other systems

 

The following skills and knowledge will be an advantage:

                -          Windows SharePoint Services

-          Windows Communication Foundation

-          Windows Workflow Foundation

 

The Delphi Developers will have:

-          Commercial experience (2+ years) of Delphi development

-          Excellent SQL skills (InterBase will be a huge advantage)

 

The following skills and knowledge will be an advantage:

-          Experience of InterBase

-          ISO Management Standards

-          StarTeam 2005

-          WISE and/or InstallShield
