The Training module allows you to manage your staff courses / skills and requirements in one simple module.
Skills, Courses and Qualifications
- Maintain complete records of all courses.
- Courses may be defined as conferring a set of skills and/or a qualification if completed successfully.
- Categorise courses by user defined types.
- Courses may be identified as in-house or externally conducted.
- Multiple scheduled dates can be set up for any given course. These dates are shown in the calendar.
- Individuals are sent an automatic reminder when due to attend a course.
- Courses can be scheduled to include personnel from multiple work-sites.
- Details can be recorded of the result of any course attended by a member of staff.
- Ultimate flexibility in recording course results. These are user defined and may be verbal descriptions, a simple pass/fail indicator, a numerical score or a combination of some or all of these. Personnel records are automatically updated with course results.
- The recording and scheduling of follow up or refresher courses may be generated for staff as appropriate.
Training Records and Requirements
- Record training gained (courses, skills and qualifications) for members of personnel. Skills gained can reflect on the job training as well as those gained through formal training courses.
- A training history is maintained automatically for each individual.
- Identify current and future training requirements for members of staff.
- All skills and training requirements are user defined.
- Training profiles can be generated for any individual and shown as a whole or broken down into constituent courses, skills and qualifications.
- Maintain complete records of employee reviews and assessment interviews.
Training Wizards
- Software 'wizards' make entering information very straightforward. The first is used to record Training Requirements, the second to record Training Gained.
- Use of wizards minimises system training for course administrators.
- Ease of use encourages regular updating of personnel records. This means that at any time a current picture of individual training profiles can be obtained.
Management Reporting
- Standard system reports can be augmented with reports set up in the Workbench ReportQuest module.
- A variety of system reports offer management a current and comprehensive picture of the training status of the company.
- Complete overview of the skills, courses and qualifications within the organisation.
- Identify areas of potential weakness and pinpoint bottlenecks to productivity. Rapidly focus on skill or qualification shortfalls which may block business development.
- Assess whether employee skill levels match those required for new contracts.
