Test and Calibration - manages your equipment calibration schedules and ensures tests are carried out on time. Read some of the key features at a glance below...
General
- Track the testing and usage of equipment, ensuring it meets required standards of accuracy and reliability.
- User defined analysis for equipment : colour codes, enhanced status codes, asset register categories etc.
The Equipment Register
- The core of the system. Provides invaluable feedback on any equipment; its condition, usability, forthcoming test schedule and whereabouts.
- Easy entry and listing of equipment items. Equipment manufacturer, supplier, owner, cost of acquisition and serial number details.
- Full test history/audit trail for each item.
- Full 'where used' history for each item. User defined equipment types.
- Supplier and manufacturer records.
Traceability
- Traceability is a key requirement of all compliance systems. If equipment fails a test it is vital to be able to trace which jobs it has been used on.
- Full audit trail of locations where equipment has been used and personnel to whom it has been booked out.
- Keep a similar history of jobs on which the equipment has been used.
- Definition of sites and locations where equipment may be held.
- Record unscheduled or unplanned events which can affect equipment usability : breakdowns, accidental damage, loss etc.
Test Templates and Schedules
- Test Template Register makes tests re-usable. Define a test once and then attach it to multiple equipment items. Amend any detail as necessary for an individual item.
- On-line scheduling of tests, including recurring tests at defined intervals.
- Any number of tests per equipment item.
- Any number of measurements per test.
- Measurements have defined expected readings and tolerance bands. Optional environment variables may be defined for any test, e.g. ambient temperature. Tests will fail if these are outside the defined acceptable range.
- Calendar view of test schedules by person, department, and date of test.
- On-line entry of test details.
- Secure entry of test results - testers cannot see expected result range.
- Automated production of certificates of conformity.
- Failure certificates produced if any test results outside acceptable range parameters.
- Define remedial actions to be taken when a given test failed.
- Full reporting of test details, schedules and results.
