Why have both ?
Microsoft Sharepoint is part of the core Microsoft server family and thus already at the heart of your Microsoft server strategy.
Sharepoint can be used to provide basic document management but is not able to provide the powerful true compliance solutions that our Workbench products can. However, with our IntraVista web client software you can configure it as a Sharepoint Web Part allowing the integration of both solutions.

What is a Web Part?
On the left is the standard "out-of-the-box" MS Sharepoint screen with the secure Workbench documents available as a web-part.
Web Parts are the interface provided by Sharepoint to add connectivity to other datasources and facilities.
We can provide a ready-made web-part with your Workbench / IntraVista Pro system or help you configure your own.

The Sharepoint web-part shows a hierarchical view of the documents in your database.
The latest documents stored in the database can be accessed via the click of a mouse and it will ALWAYS show the latest version with no worries.
You can access multiple databases and if you synchronise your network login with your Workbench system you can provide document views that respects Workbench's rigourous access security, meaning you only see documents you are allowed to.
Alternatively, maintain controlled documents in a separate database for all-round public access... your choice.
