Process Management
Manufacturing and associated services require competent process driven control systems and the need for change to be implemented quickly and finely controlled.
In the automotive areas, specific compliance such as ISO / TS 16949:2002 are used in conjunction with more generic standards such as ISO 9001. ISO 9000 generally is prevalent in manufacturing arenas because it provides a good framework that incorporates supplier, customer and product management.
Visual processes
Many of our existing customers have built excellent visual interfaces to their Workbench based systems. Siemens use a web-based flowchart approach to provide a drill-down system that is easy to use at all levels from management to shop-floor staff.
Reporting mechanisms can also be accomodated in this way. For reporting incidents, or potential incidents and hazards, using a visual web-based system means that it is simple to use and operate thus increasing it's chances of being accepted in the workplace with minimal training. Environmental controls can be managed and proved to be managed.
