What applications can you integrate with?
Our document control module is an open system - therefore you can use practically any application that saves it's files as a discreet file.
A list of some of the more common applications is on the right. If you have an application you would like to use with our products, please contact us and ask. In 99.9% or cases you will be able to do so.
Can I access my system across the Internet?
Yes, but you will need to ensure appropriate network access is available and you can see the servers.
What makes your system so secure?
Unlike many systems, we don't simply link to existing files and documents on your network. We store all your information in our SQL driven database ensuring that no-one can access, alter or move information. Encryption options available and even your I.T. department cannot circumvent the controls even if they have full control of the servers. It ensures all significant activity is logged and time/date stamped to provide a complete audit trail.
How scaleable are your solutions?
Totally. You could start with a single user, standalone system and scale to a corporate multi-site solution if required. Our systems are modular and use cost-effective concurrent licence access. More.
Do you support multiple languages?
Yes, and you can have different language or terminology interfaces at different sites or countries using our InterLingua terminology editor.
How many databases can I have?
Quality Workbench has one database. Professional users can have as many as you like.
Do you have a web client?
Yes. Our IntraVista software is a browser based client.
Is your software suitable for small businesses?
Absolutely. We have lots of small businesses using our software and our single-user standalone software starts at only £495 + VAT
Can your software be used across multiple countries?
Yes. Some of our larger corporate customers use our software in mulitple countries and multiple sites.
Can I design my own reports?
Yes, using our ReportQuest module or alternatively, you could use a third-party reporting tool such as Crystal Reports with an appropriate ODBC driver to connect to the database using a read-only account.
Can I see my workload?
Yes - several ways. Using the Task and Notification system or by using the reports built into the system or created using our ReportQuest software.
Coming in 2006 is the new Desktop Monitor workload and Task manager software which will make it even easier to see and drive actions and activity in your organisation.
Can I integrate with email?
Absolutely. Our product supports Microsoft Outlook and SMTP based mail. Also Lotus Notes. Failing that we have our own internal mail system for all your tasks and notifications.
How is your product licenced?
We employ concurrent licence models meaning that you get maximum value from using a "pool" of licences. We also have different licence types allowing "System Wide", "Module" and "Workgroup" access for complete flexibility.
What are your future plans?
We have an ongoing timeline for product development, some of which is outlined here. Using our feedback systems our customers can influence this development or request custom work and consultancy.
I used to be a customer but let my support contract lapse. Can I come back on board?
Of course. We have options to get you back on board either starting from scratch or even upgrading your old system. Contact us for more information.
