IntraVista - Web and Remote Access

The IntraVista module provides a dynamic publishing ability to allow the viewing of controlled documents via a standard Web browser. IntraVista gives businesses a way of ensuring that controlled documentation is distributed as widely as possible (in a guaranteed up-to-date format) to staff and business partners at minimal cost.

We emphasise ‘controlled’ because IntraVista enforces all the security viewing rights set up in the Document Control module. This is a crucial consideration for many companies whose current Intranets are effectively uncontrolled.

Hyperlinking between documents is fully supported, allowing users to easily jump from one document to another.
If you so require, all users must validate themselves prior to accessing IntraVista.
User authentication can be defined on a per database level, allowing a mixture of secure and open access.
All document security as defined in Workbench Professional is strictly adhered to - you can only view documents that you would normally see in the Document Control module.
You can design the look and feel of all search screens, use a process map or a graphical interface instead of plain text searching.
For ease of use you may limit searching; alternatively allow all document attributes to be searched on.
Incorporate company images or logos into your IntraVista site.
Special IntraVista ‘tags’ embedded in your pages provide access through the Web server to the Document Control database.
