Workbench Office

Workbench Office is a powerful add-in to the Microsoft Office suite applications of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook Mail Client. It allows you to access your secured and controlled documents in Workbench Professional and Quality Workbench directly from the Office application. This is compatible with Office 2007 (and subsequently Office 2010 when it is released).

As part of this add-in, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint can all be controlled (on a document basis by workflow settings) to enable/disable Save, Save As, Copy/Cut/Paste and Print. Workbench Office will also eliminate the need for macros in Word as document tags have been fully utilised to allow the population of Word documents with Workbench-specific information.

Another feature of the add-in is the ability to save files that are currently open in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, directly into Workbench without the need for saving them first and then importing.
